God is Great!
“It is good to praise the Lord
and make music to your name, O Most High,
proclaiming your love in the morning
and your faithfulness at night.”
— Psalm 92:1–2
There is something so comforting about that.
God meets us in both places:
the fresh beginning of morning,
and the quiet reflection of night.
Whether you are reading this at the start of a hopeful day or at the end of an emotionally exhausting one, it is never too late to pour your praise onto God.
God Pivots
And the beautiful thing about God is this:
He knows how to pivot.
Better than Google Maps.
Better than Apple Maps.
Better than any navigation system we could ever rely on.
God knows the back roads.
The detours.
The shortcuts.
The reroutes.
Nothing catches Him off guard.
God is Strategic
The beautiful thing about strategic planning is that it always begins with an outcome in mind.
God already sees the outcome.
He knows the purpose He placed inside of you.
He knows the life attached to your obedience.
He knows who will be impacted because you chose to keep going despite fear.
Esther eventually walked into the king’s presence afraid…
and did it anyway.
God is Practical
Because God understands something we often forget:
We are spirit.
We are soul.
But we are also body.
Sometimes we want God to supernaturally heal our anxiety, depression, stress, burnout, or emotional exhaustion while we continue neglecting sleep, hydration, nutrition, movement, and rest.
But God created our bodies with intention too.
God is Light.
Rest is not just about stopping.
It is about being properly yoked.
It is about allowing God to bring balance to our lives — our health, our families, our relationships, our grief, our ministry, our calling, our work, our minds.
It is about no longer trying to carry life alone.
When God becomes the center of the yoke, the burden becomes lighter.
Not because life suddenly becomes easy, but because we are no longer carrying it without Him.
God Rested.
From the very beginning of creation, Scripture shows us something powerful:
God rested.
Not because He was weak.
Not because He was tired.
Not because He lacked the ability to continue creating.
But because rest was always part of the design.
God Gets Frustrated, Too.
Tonight, as you wind down from the day, maybe replay the moments where frustration got the best of you.
Maybe you said something you should not have said. Maybe someone tested every ounce of your patience. Maybe life itself just felt heavy today. Sit with that honestly. Repent where you need to. Ask for forgiveness where necessary.
Give yourself grace, too.
God Never Fails
In this moment that I may not feel as victorious, I am assured that I am.
Thank you for loving me in doubt and fear of failure, and showing up for me anyway,
God Believes in You
What He asks of us is faith.
Trust.
Dependence.
Hope.
Not perfection.
Not strength without breaking.
Not pretending we are okay.
Just faith that He will sustain us in what we cannot sustain ourselves through.
God Restores - Even in This!
So today, if you find yourself sitting in ashes like Job once did, get up slowly if you need to. Wash your face. Take a breath. Speak kindly to yourself. And remind yourself of what Job remembered in the middle of his suffering:
“My Redeemer lives.”
God is still with you.
God still loves you.
And this is not the end of your story.
God Knows All About It!
We often start from scarcity instead of abundance, listing everything we do not have while forgetting the One thing we do have:
A Father who loves us, walks with us, and called us anyway.
God Knows The Weapons
God knows the weapon.
Matter of fact, He knew about it before it ever reached you.
And the same God who knew the battle was coming has already made a way through it.
God Knows Your Greatness
When God set out to form the earth from a dark and empty void, He lit the sky, moved upon the waters, divided them from each other, created day from night, and prepared a place for His greatest creation.
You.
Out of everything God created, you are the only creation He formed in His image and likeness.
God Knows the Detours
God remains faithful even when we are overwhelmed, uncertain, or emotionally exhausted.
The path may become complicated.
But God still knows how to find us there.
God knows us!
God Knows You - Trust the Blueprint
Because without a blueprint, everything feels urgent.
Everything feels possible, and overwhelming at the same time.
Excitement and fear collide, leading us down a path of confusion and overwhelm.
But with God’s blueprint, you are reminded:
You don’t have to figure everything out at once.
God Sees Your Soul
You do not have to shame yourself into healing.
God sees your soul - not as “too emotional,” “too sensitive,” or “too much” - but as deeply human and deeply loved.
God Sees What You Are Going Through
When we place our trust in the righteous right hand of God, fear, anxiety, and worry lose their grip. God’s hand not only offers power, authority, and safety but also brings love, comfort, and peace.
God Sees Us When Others Don’t
God did not see her as a problem to solve or a burden to carry.
He saw her as His daughter.
In her despair, Hagar was seen, heard, and loved - not in perfection, but in her humanity.
If you are feeling unseen today, especially by the people who should see you most - know this:
You are seen by your Father.
God Sees Your Tears
“It’s a letter listing all the times you soaked your pillow at night or swiped the tears from your face before entering a meeting where you needed to show up ‘put together’, strong (whatever that is), and ready.
It’s a letter tracking your sorrows, your pains, your disappointments.”
